Spanish conversation practice: 19 scenarios with an AI that grades you

Cafés, markets, taxis, pharmacies, phone calls and friendly arguments — every scenario scores each message you send and tells you what a native would have said.

These are the 19 conversation scenarios in the Juntos AI tutor. Each one puts you in a specific situation — a café, a taxi, a pharmacy, a phone call, a friendly argument — with the AI playing the other person. Every message you send is scored 0–100 with corrections, and every scenario can also be run as an AI Call, by voice, with the AI replying out loud in Latin American Spanish.

Each page below gives you ten phrases you will need, an honest account of how the session works, and the three mistakes learners most often make in that situation. Scenarios are grouped by their default level, but any of them can be run at easy, medium or hard difficulty in the app.

Which scenario to start with

If you are at A2, the café, the hotel and the neighbour are built for you: short exchanges, common vocabulary, the AI leading. At B1, the market, the taxi and making plans add numbers, negotiation and the future tense. The hard scenarios — the restaurant, the phone call, the lost passport, the debate — are B1 to B2 territory and lean on the past tense, the subjunctive and the conditional.
