Spot the slip
Ten real situations, two Spanish lines each. One is what a local says. The other means something you didn't intend. Pick the local one.
How it works
Each round puts you somewhere real, a café in Mexico City, a market in Oaxaca, a bus in Guadalajara, and tells you what you want to say. Two Spanish lines. One is what a local says. The other is the slip an English speaker makes: often correct grammar, sometimes perfectly polite, and saying something you did not mean. Estoy caliente for the heat. Estoy embarazada for embarrassed. Adiós to a stall you'll be back at tomorrow.
Ten rounds, drawn from the 48 slips the Juntos tutor catches. Play again for a different ten. Get one wrong and you see what you actually said, why, and a link to the full page with the reel.
Why slips are the mistakes that stick
A wrong verb ending gets you understood with a wince. A slip gets you understood as saying something else, and because the Spanish is often correct, a native rarely corrects you. You keep saying it for years. The Juntos tutor catches slips automatically in everything you write or say, scores them lower than a grammar mistake, and builds your next session from the ones you repeat.

What is a slip in Spanish?
A sentence that is grammatically fine but says something you didn't mean, like estoy caliente (I'm aroused) when you meant tengo calor (I'm hot). Natives rarely correct them, so they stick.
Is the quiz free?
Yes, with no account. Play as many times as you like; each game draws ten rounds at random.
Which Spanish does the quiz use?
Latin American Spanish, mostly Mexico and Central America, where these slips come up most for English speakers.
