About Juntos

A Spanish course built by someone who needed it, and still reads every message.

I'm Michael Palmer, and I built Juntos.

When I moved to Mexico I spoke zero Spanish. Every app I tried taught me to recognise Spanish, but none of them taught me to produce it under pressure, which is the only thing that matters when someone is actually talking to you. So I built the one I needed: you write and say real sentences, and a tutor tells you straight away what a local would say instead.

What Juntos is

A Spanish course for English-speaking adults, from complete beginner to advanced (A1 to C1), in neutral Latin American Spanish. Every sentence you write or say is graded out of 100 by an AI tutor, with the fix and the reason. The mistakes you keep making go into your Error Bank, and your next session is built from them.

The AI is a practice partner, not a replacement for people. That is why Juntos is built for two: you can practise with a friend or partner inside the app, and the tutor quietly marks both of you.

How we keep it honest

When the tutor gets it wrong, we fix it. Learners can tap "Think this was marked wrong?" on any answer. Every valid report is fixed and becomes a permanent test case, and the grader is re-tested against all of them before any change to how it marks.
Free means free. The grammar courses, games, friend chat, your Error Bank and the public tools (the grammar checker, spell checker, conjugator and Spot the slip) stay free forever. Pro is $8 a month or $59 a year, with a 14-day money-back guarantee on your first payment.
Your voice stays yours. Speaking answers are transcribed to grade them. Recordings are only kept if you opt in, and then for 30 days.
