Practise free conversation in Spanish — with an AI that grades you

No script, no menu: Sol follows wherever you take the conversation and scores every message so you know what to fix.

Free chat is the scenario with no scenario. You say what is on your mind — your weekend, your job, a film, a problem at work — and Sol, the Juntos AI tutor, keeps the conversation going the way a patient native-speaker friend would. It adapts to whatever level you write at: a beginner gets short replies and simple questions, a B2 learner gets pushback and follow-ups. It is the best place to practise the thing most learners never practise — keeping a conversation alive without a topic being handed to you.

The value over a normal chatbot is the grading. Every message you send comes back with a score and, when needed, the sentence a native would have written, so a twenty-minute ramble about your week turns into a list of the specific things your Spanish needs. The phrases below are the conversational scaffolding — how to open, ask for a repeat, fish for a word, hand the turn back — that keeps free chat moving.

How the AI session works

You open the Free chat with Sol scenario (open conversation — sol follows your lead) and the AI takes the other role. This scenario has no fixed level: the AI reads what you write and matches its own vocabulary and sentence length to it. You can also choose easy, medium or hard for any scenario, so the same conversation grows with you from A2 to B2.

Every message you send is scored 0–100 for grammar, vocabulary, fit with your level and how quickly you replied. Tap the score and you see one clear piece of feedback and the specific corrections: what you wrote, what a native speaker would have written, and why. Mistakes that keep recurring are filed into your Error Bank and come back in spaced-repetition reviews.

Prefer to speak? AI Call mode runs the same scenario by voice: tap the mic, say your line, and the AI transcribes it, replies out loud in Latin American Spanish and grades your spoken turn. For a situation like this one, doing it by ear is the closest thing to the real conversation.
